James Davy

Physiotherapist

James first studied a Bachelor of Science (Exercise Science) at the University of Wollongong and graduated in 2013. He then studied a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra where he graduated in 2016. Since graduating James has been working full time in Private Practice.

James is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals and returning them to an active healthy lifestyle. He has a thorough understanding of musculoskeletal injuries and utilises a variety of manual therapy techniques, dry-needling and exercise prescription to help patients achieve their goals. He is dedicated in helping clients recover from their injuries and return to sport, work and normal daily living activities.

In his spare time James enjoys spending time outdoors including hiking and going to the beach. James also has a strong interest in Triathlon where he still competes and trains on a regular basis. 

James is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has a strong commitment to ongoing personal development.

Gemma Williams

Gemma Williams BAppSc(OT), Registered OT

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Gemma graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of Sydney in 1998. She commenced her career in the public sector within Community Health and hospital positions. After a break to raise her own three boys, Gemma returned to Occupational Therapy in the private sector and has specialised in both clinic based and school based therapy.

Gemma has spent her career specialising in Paediatrics, with a family centred approach to her clinical delivery. She has experience with many diagnostic groups and employs both functional and sensory intervention approaches. Working as a part of a multidisciplinary team has been a major focus, enjoying the satisfaction of improved outcomes when working as part of a collaborated team. Gemma has a passion for helping all children to reach their potential and be their best.

In her spare time Gemma can be found with her family enjoying the outdoors. Being in the amazing local bushland is her favourite place, hiking and mountain biking.

Melanie Forster

Melanie Forster GradDipPsych

Registered Psychologist

Melanie graduated with a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Deakin University in 2015 and has worked in private practice ever since. She also has a German degree in Psychology and has worked in the somatic rehabilitation sector before she migrated to Australia in early 2015.

She predominantly works with adults and late adolescents. She is experienced in treating affective disorders such as depression and anxiety by using a cognitive behavioural approach. During her time in Germany she has also gained knowledge in the psychological treatment and management of chronic pain. Melanie is also keen to help motivated clients become and remain abstinent from various substances. She has a special interest in working with clients with trauma-related and early childhood neglect issues. Melanie specialises in individual counselling and crisis intervention as well as brief therapeutic intervention for psychological disorders. Besides cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Melanie is also experienced in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. Melanie is also a Work Cover approved psychologist and can assist with vocational issues.

Outside of work, she enjoys being an active archer and gym member. She likes the Australian outdoors and spends many of her holidays camping.
